Médecin légiste, anthropologue, maître de conférences , Philippe Charlier est l’un des rares chercheurs français à avoir étudié le vaudou in situ en Haïti, au Bénin ou au Togo. Avec passion, il explore les liens entre médecine, spiritualité et rites de possession.

Forensic physician, anthropologist and lecturer, Philippe Charlier is one of the few French researchers to have studied voodoo in situ in Haiti, Benin and Togo. He is passionate about exploring the links between medicine, spirituality and possession rites.

Après 20 ans dans la zone industrielle d’Apt, la Fondation Blachère s’installe à la Gare de Bonnieux.

Le lieu a changé mais la philosophie et l’objet de la Fondation restent les mêmes: soutenir et diffuser la création contemporaine d’Afrique et de sa diaspora.

Venez découvrir nos expositions du lundi au samedi de 10h à 12h30 et de 14h à 18h tout au long de l’année, et jusqu’à 19h en juillet et août.

A new version of the Foundation

After 20 years in the industrial zone of Apt, the Fondation Blachère is moving to the Gare de Bonnieux.

The location has changed, but the philosophy and purpose of the Foundation remain the same: to support and promote contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora.

Come and see our exhibitions from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm all year round, and until 7pm in July and August.
